Byaruhanga Messengers of Grace International Ministries
Ministry Type: Church
Joined FMIN: June 2008
Messengers of Grace International Ministries is a young ministry which was started in 2007 but is already very busy for God. They have services on Sunday, Monday evening and overnight meetings every Friday. The church has a large group of musicians who love to worship. They have cell groups, each with a leader and assistant who work hard to preach the gospel in their respective communities, sometimes from door to door. They also have a prayer/intercessors group who are committed to fasting and prayer.
The focus of the church is to help people know Jesus Christ and then help them show Jesus to others. Byaruhanga tells us, "This can be done through training leaders in the church and teaching people how to read and write. This is the major reason why we established a school which starts from a baby class to primary seven. Bearing in mind that the youth need to develop economically if they are to spread the Gospel successfully, we have started some projects for youth, such as running a piggery, bee keeping and a tree farm. We feel that every church member should enjoy a reasonable standard of living and we are trying to fight poverty." Norah is a qualified teacher in infant classes, loves children and teaches Sunday School.
Strengths: Vana is a gifted teacher and preacher, but above all, he is committed to using all possible ways at his disposal to help vulnerable adults and orphans. Norah has a gift of apostleship.
