Ministry Type: Translocal Joined FMIN: December 2008 Biography: Bethlehem Ministries began as a cell group in 2002 in a living room on Friday evenings. It is now home to many in the busy metropolitan historical city of Secunderabad. Cell groups are still a very important part of the church. Bethlehem Ministries is planting effective churches in neighboring areas with an attitude of integrity, openness and team work. John and Esther have a growing children's ministry with Bible clubs for children all through the week in different areas. Their youth ministry is called Streams Youth Fellowship and trains and equips the youth in the Word, helping them develop solutions to their problems and counseling them spiritually, personally and in their future careers. They also have an active youth music ministry. John tells us, "We strongly believe that God is moving us in church planting while at the same time making some strong Christian leaders for tomorrow. My goal in life is very simple: know the will of god and do it without hesitation. To love God and serve Him is the highest honor given to man." Strengths: John has a strong gifting in prophetic teaching and anointed worship and music. He is a translator from English to Telugu. John and Esther are a fun-filled couple.
