Ministry Type: Church Joined FMIN: December 2009 Biography: The Assembly of God Church in Jaffna, Sri Lanka began in 1980 with the desire to win the lost. The church was the first Pentecostal church in the north section of Sri Lanka. They meet on Sundays, but everyday from 4 - 6 p.m., at least 15 to 20 members join together for prayer, worship, praise and supplication. The church also has cell groups that meet every week. The leaders of those cell groups must attend the pastor's cell group every week. They have an active youth ministry which meets after Sunday service each week. The youth also have their own cell group and go visiting to evangelize. Samson and Antoinette have a vision to build a large complex for people to worship the Lord and impact the nation. Now that the 30-year war is over, they are prayerfully planning mass crusades to bring healing and restoration to their country.
