Biography: Edward and Harriet Ssebuyungo started Kibiga Miracle Center Church in 2000 with the mission statement to empower communities in order to fulfill the Great Commission of reaching communities with love. Edward tells us, "The church started after a prayer of healing for a crippled woman. The healing brought about a move and fear of God on the village and eight people gave their lives to the Lord. We started in a temporary shelter of grass and poles, then moved to a house. We decided to mobilize funds to purchase land and made mud bricks which we sold and bought an acre of land." The church continued to grow with plans to build a school, football grounds, permanent church, guest house and pastor's residence.
The church has cell groups which meet on Thursdays as well as nursery, children's and youth programs. The focus of the church is on youth, children, women (including widows), prayer, evangelism and devopment. Evangelism projects include annual prayer conferences, youth camps, teacher's training, seminars and crusades.
