Biography: Victors Church was started in 1992 in Namugoga after Aloysious realized the deep need for God's love and salvation in this area which has been experiencing an extremely high rate of mortality, social problems and family disintegration. Aloysious tells us, "the situation is changing ... our major effort is to deal with the children and youngsters if we're to change the history of the community". The church has grown quickly from their first service under a tree with only three members. Aloysious and Abishage now oversee twenty churches in this zone.
Aloysious and Abishage began Adonai Family Uganda in 2005 as a children's ministry serving more than 150 orphans, 37 of which are residents of the Adonai Child Development Centre. Aloysious says, "Evangelism and discipleship have affected positively the lives of the defenseless and voiceless children and as we confront the roots of their belief system with the Word of God their hope is restored".
The Luswatas tell us their church is an indigenous church. They are self-propagating, self-governing and self-supportive and have the vision to represent and present God well as they advance His kingdom by helping struggling marriages and families; teaching and encouraging church leaders; helping the fatherless find families; and giving education, healthcare, food, love and protection.
Strengths: Aloysious and Abishage are gifted teachers, communicators, and are self-motivated team players who are very compassionate, dependable, responsible and dedicated.
