Biography: Solomon and Dorothy co-pastor Word of Life Church, along with Friends Ministries International which began in 2000. Their objectives are to serve, develop and transform the community. The vision of the ministry is to win, equip, consolidate, and send believers to effect and transform nations and communities and change lives. The church holds leadership training to raise leaders in all callings and giftings, and to raise a workforce to transform nations, societies and communities.
Solomon tells us that the community in which the church is located has suffered many losses due to parents dying of AIDS. Solomon and Dorothy have great compassion for disadvantaged and marginalized groups of people. They are a voice for the voiceless which is important to transform this community. The church has cell groups which meet during the week. They have a large children's church which meets on Sundays and they also have special organized activities every month to reach out to all the community children with games, sports, poems, and teachings. They have an active youth ministry, organizing meetings to educate youth about HIV/AIDS, promote abstinence and give lessons on manhood and womanhood. Evangelism projects include construction of spring water wells, feeding children, helping elderly, Samaritan's Purse, and door to door outreaches.
Strengths: Solomon and Dorothy are gifted organizers who show the love of Christ to their community in very tangible ways.
