Ministry Description:
Joined FMIN: May 2011
Biography: Simon and Josephine began Victory Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Ministry in 1999 with six people. Simon tells us, "God performed miracles and people were attracted to the church….the church is moving on well and we have opened five other churches." The vision of the church is to preach the Word of God and open churches worldwide while developing Christians spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and materially with the emphasis on preaching the gospel.
The church has cell groups in each corner of their city; the east, west, north, and south. They have a nursery ministry which includes Nursery and Primary (1 – 5) and a children's ministry. Their youth ministry is organized in groups which preach the gospel, meet in seminars, and do some small income-generating projects. Evangelism projects include women's charity groups which knit table cloths, with goals to open a carpentry workshop to general funds and offer employment, as well as brick laying projects. They plan to open a theological institute as well.
Strengths: Simon's strengths are in preaching, teaching, miracles and visions, evangelism, and intercession.
