Samson Kayoti Saenyi
Wanjala Great Holistic Transformation International Ministries
Ministry Type: Translocal
Joined FMIN: May 2011
Biography: This ministry began in 2000 under the name of Christian Youth Network with the vision of giving practical solutions to community challenges. As they have grown, this has remained the vision for their youth ministry. However, besides youth being challenged, there are health, water, and illness challenges. This is what moved them to begin Great Holistic Transformation International Ministries in 2007, to reach the whole community with the message of transformation. The ministry began its first church with 15 members and now has branch churches in Kenya and Uganda. The ministry has a vision of transforming lives to touch lives. Their mission is to preach the Word to transform the world holistically, spiritually, socially, and economically. They have a goal to set up institutions for vulnerable children, health facilities, a home for the destitute and ages, and projects to help the communities become self-sustaining.
The ministry operates under three initiatives: the Couples Complex Initiative, which deals with couples holistically in the community; the Great Holistic Youth Network that reaches youth in churches and in primary and secondary schools; and the Great Holistic Single Ladies Network, which Metrine directs. This branch of ministry supports, trains, and counsels single mothers and divorcees, and plans to begin a loaning facility to help them invest in income-generating activities and educate their children.
Strengths: Samson and Metrine have pastor's hearts and are passionate for youth, children, orphans, needy, couples, and women. Samson is gifted in evangelism, teaching, praise and worship, administration, prayer, helps, and counseling.
