Biography: Africa Gospel Church was started in 2000 with just nine people after an intensive door to door and massive evangelism. The church began worship services in a papyrus church, but later moved into a mud and iron roofed building. Ben tells us, "More members are still continuing to join us to redeem mankind from the bondages of evil."
The church is in the village of Wantette, which in the past was predominantly occupied by Muslims and those practicing witchcraft. With the introduction of the Gospel, both practices have reduced drastically, and the population is increasing with the addition of Christian churches.
Evangelism is important to Ben and Eseza. Outreaches include a pre-primary and primary schools, Bible school for pastoral training, AIDS victims support, Orphan and vulnerable children support, widow's support, counseling, guidance and evangelism pastoring. The church also has nursery and children's ministries, with a youth ministry which focuses on discipleship.
Strengths: Ben and Eseza have pastor's hearts and are focused on helping their community. Ben is also gifted in preaching.
