Ministry Type: Church

Ministry Description:

Joined FMIN: July 2011

Biography: Joshua Church began in 2002 with the desire to place the cross into the hearts of the people of Myanmar. The church is pentecostal, including members from five ethnic groups. They have five full-time ministers to meet the needs of the body. The church has cell groups of 5 to 10 people, and a children's ministry.

In 2009, the Moe's founded Great Commission Mission. There are now five missions filled with five church planters. They desire to harvest the Burmese people and all nations.

The vision of the ministries is church planting. Aung tells us, "Our vision is to plant 200 churches where there is non-churched in Myanmar. We also have a vision to train a new generation of leaders, to send into the mission fields."

Strengths: Aung Kyaw and Sung Hniang are gifted as pastors, in evangelism, and teaching.
