Biography: Akbar and Parveen pastor The Wesleyan Methodist Church in their predominately Muslim country of Pakistan. With six churches and eleven cell groups, their goal is to have a loving, caring association of members who will encourage one another in the steps of Christ, to help train leaders for ministry and to fulfill the Great Commission of teaching, preaching and making disciples of all nations.
To reach the people in this developing country where the majority of the population lives in very bad conditions, their churches hold crusades and seminars, have open Adult Education Schools throughout Pakistan, offer free medical clinics, dispensaries and medical camps, and run Bible schools and colleges. This Ministry was also on site with relief camps, supplying medical clinics and shelter, when the devastating earthquake hit Pakistan October 2005.
Strengths: Akbar and Parveen are gifted in organizing conventions and seminars. They also hold a focus on prayer and working with their youth.
