Biography: East African Christian Leaders Network is a relational network that brings together Christian leaders, churches, and ministries primarily in the East African region for the purpose of encouraging true unity in the Body of Christ, in order to strategically realize effectiveness in carrying out the Great Commission. This network, which was started in 2000, reaches the nations of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
The vision for the network is to bring together leaders from different Christian denominations to work together with a Kingdom perspective and focus. True discipleship and leadership training is emphasized by the network in order for the Church to experience tangible transformation. The network participates in evangelism, leadership training and conferences locally, nationally, regionally, continentally and worldwide.
Before this network, Stephen has been involved in itinerant ministry programs in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and parts of Europe. He also was involved in urban evangelism and youth ministry in his home country of Uganda.
Strengths: Stephen is a gifted teacher and preacher, able to bring people together in unity for ministry, and he is also an intercessor. Mary is gifted in praise and worship, and teaching and ministering to the young people, single and married women and the disabled.
