"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,"
This very well known Messianic verse, has become very real to him in the past two months.

Jon explains "For example I had at least 20 people come who who were suffering with back pains, or spinal pains. Some of them were in excruciating pain, especially the first one with whom I demonstrated. It culminated in about 20 people with back pains, being simultaneously healed, including a woman who was confined to a wheelchair." But that was only the beginning. John told us of an instantanous disappearance of a one-pound cancerous mass on an arm, sixteen additional healings of back problems, about 15 other ailments instantly healed, deliverances and many born again and Spirit-filled.

These miracles aren't just occuring in the churches he's been visiting. Jon tells us "On the way from the airport in London, we witnessed the aftermath of a motorbike accident. I immediately alighted from our car, ran over to the injured girl, who was bruised and bloody, while tenderly grasping her injured knee. I offered to pray for her, which she accepted, and as I put my hand on her injured knee cap, I literally felt the movement inside, and then after questioning her about the pain, and receiving a so so answer, I asked her then to stand up and test it. It was overwhelming to see her radiance and surprise as she experienced the absence of pain and started to walk around."

"However probably the zenith of my experiences happenned as I helped out my friend Stefan Driess in a Christian Stand called "Healing like Jesus" at a New Age Mind, Body, Spirit Exhibition. This was my first experience in such a setting, but I was pleasantly surprised by the openness of the participants. It was like fishing in an aquarium, where all the fish are biting. We modified our vocabulary a bit, from Christanese to New Age-ese. Like one guy asked me if the prayer would change his Karma? They all spoke of the energy which they felt, when I was praying for them. They would sit and enjoy the presence for minutes even up to an half hour. Subsequently it was easy to lead them in a prayer, where they could connect with the infinite Love of God the Creator, through his Son Jesus Christ. We asked forgiveness for them "missing the mark" and then prayed for them to have a "spirit covenant" with Jesus."
