Great News from Myanmar!

Andrew Bawi and Marilyn Ceu, Partners in Myanmar sent an update on their ministry.
Here are some of the highlights.

Leadership School in Pin Oo Lwin:
We had conducted Leadership School from 11-15 July in Pin Oo Lwin town, 42 miles from Mandalay, Myanmar. About 90 delegates came to the Seminar.

4 Guitars bought for missionaries

6th Anniversary Celebration of Patheinkyi Church. The lord blessed them 30 plastic Chairs for the Church on that day.The lord had provided Land for the Church about 40 feet long and 30 feet wide. They desperately need prayer support to build the Church with Bamboos.

Shiloh Bible College: By God's grace, we have 30 students. 17 Boys and 13 Girls. They are from different tribes, languages and Church background. And also from different parts in Myanmar. Shiloh students have outreach ministries on every Saturday at villages like Pynsa village, Zipynkyi village and Patheinkyi Town, Miahzinanda , and Yadanabone block.

Beulah Preschool:Beulah Preschool has 21 children. They all are from Non-Christian background. Half of them are from Burmese and half of them are from Chinese.

New Mission Place at Kawngpuk Village,Southern Shan State
The lord has opened door to reach the "DA-NUH" tribe with the gospel of Christ at Kawngpuk village, Yatsauh township, Southern Shan State. How the lord opened the door for us among the Da-nuh tribe was that Bro. Zaw Min Oo, a Danuh tribe who had studied with us two times at Evangelism & Discipleship School in Taunggyi, Shan State. He is willing to work with us to plant new Churches at Kawngpuk village and also to do the Church planting work among the Da-nuh tribe. Praise the lord.

Plan for Mission work in Kayah State:
We plan to extend our Mission work in Kaya State from this 2011. Kayah State is the smallest state in Myanmar. But there are generally 9 different ethnic groups. It is a remote place, most of them are uneducated, Buddhism and Animists. There are some Christians but mostly are liberal Baptist and also Roman Catholics.

Missionaries report:
Building Tent for Missionary: We are building a small tent, 18 feet long and 12 feet wide at Ngaingchitauk village. The purpose of building this tent is to plant the new Church in this place among the Asho tribes.

Andrew also listed many church planting and evangelism meetings that occurred or are being planned.
