The Mystery

Have you ever attended a "Mystery Dinner Party"? This fun, imaginary event is where guests are invited to dine, converse, speculate and resolve a hypothetical mysterious murder that is outlined at the beginning and then the murderer is revealed at the end of the evening. As the mystery is sorted out, each of the guests is in character and is suspect throughout the time span of the gathering. Always, there is a host who is given a manual to guide the guests through the evening, assisting them in discovering the truth.
This event described above is about resolving a crime. But let me tell you about the brightest "Mystery Dinne" of all that is about identifying a beneficiary!
We have all been invited to dine, converse, speculate and reach the joyous conclusion of God's mystery that had not been disclosed to humans until Jesus entry to the earth.
You are invited to:
(1) Dine at the table of God's Word, and read all the clues and information given to man.
(2) Study with other believers and reason together about the goodness of God.
(3) Ask questions and wonder at the mystery of infinity, creation, and the power of Love.
(4) Discover that we are all accepted into the Kingdom of God, fellow heirs and partakers of the divine promise . . . forever!
(5) Be a "host" to assist others in knowing the secrets and benefits of our God.
This 'mystery' analogy gives new meaning to Ephesians 3: 2-6, (Amplified): "Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace (His unmerited favor) that was entrusted to me to dispense to you for your benefit. And that the mystery - secret was made known to me and I was allowed to comprehend it by direct revelation, as I already briefly wrote you. When you read this you can understand my insight in the mystery of Christ. This mystery was never disclosed to human beings in the past generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles (consecrated messengers) and prophets by the Holy Spirit. It is this: that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs with the Jews, members of the same body and joint partakers, sharing in the same divine promise in Christ through their acceptance of the glad tidings - the Gospel."
Love a good mystery? Wherever you work, play or live, be a "mystery host" to dispense the good news of the greatest mystery of all: God loves you. You are a fellow heir, a joint partaker, a participant in the divine promise of Christ. Believe it. Partake in it. Participate. Enjoy.
